SK hynix's latest update is a reminder to separate capacity planning from a delivery commitment.
In its 28 October 2026 results announcement, the company said long-term agreements with 14 major customers cover more than half of its production capacity for 2027-2028.
That is a company-level statement about future capacity. It does not tell a purchasing team whether a particular DDR5 part is available in the quantity, package or delivery window their build requires.
For an active requirement, define the full MPN and specification, quantity and need-by date. Then request a current, traceable supply review for that exact requirement.
